2022 East Shadow Lake Drive Utility Project
On April 25th, 2022, the City of Lino Lakes awarded a contract to Dresel Contracting, Inc. for construction of the 2022 East Shadow Lake Drive Utility Project. The project scope includes repairs to the sanitary sewer, the watermain, and the storm sewer at the intersection of East Shadow Lake Drive and Lantern Lane. The project is scheduled to begin the week of May 23rd and be substantially completed by the end of September – weather permitting.
2022 Street Rehabilitation Project
“On February 14th, 2022, the City Council awarded a contract to T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. for construction of the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project. The proposed improvements included in the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project are detailed below:
Area 1: The project scope includes watermain valve repair, spot water service connection repairs, spot curb repair, milling the bituminous pavement and paving. Streets included in Area 1 are West Shadow Lake Drive (from Birch Street to Fox Road), Painted Turtle Road (from West Shadow Lake Drive to Hawthorn Road), Hawthorn Road, Hickory Place, Ironwood Circle, River Birch Place (West Shadow Lake Drive east to the cul-de sac), White Owl Drive, Fox Circle, and Fox Road (West Shadow Lake Drive west to the cul-de sac).
Work in Area 1 is scheduled to begin the week of April 25, 2022. The contractor anticipates paving the roads towards the end of May. Final restoration work will follow paving operations.
Area 2: The project scope includes leveling and paving on Rondeau Lake Road W (from Main Street to the northern city limits), 81st Street W (from Rondeau Lake Road W to the cul-de-sac), and Rondeau Lake Road E (from Main Street to the northern city limits).
Paving work in Area 2 is scheduled for May 2022.”
CRJ and Hodgson Road Improvement Project
The City is working with Anoka and Ramsey Counties, along with the City of Shoreview to design improvements for the reconstruction of County Road J and Hodgson Road intersection and approaches. The project is planned for construction in 2023.
CRJ and I-35E Interchange Improvement Project
The existing I-35E and County Road J interchange, and the surrounding area, have several safety, congestion, and access issues that impact motorists and all users of the corridor. Additional development is anticipated near the interchange and will increase traffic and public demands for pedestrian facilities; more emphasis will be needed to improve traffic safety. The project is planned for construction in 2024.
