With the influx of Emerald Ash Borer in Minnesota, it is predicted that Lino Lakes could lose as many as 10,000 trees. In order to pro-actively protect the local tree population and preserve our natural resources, Lino Lakes has partnered with the Anoka Conservation District. These programs will allow residents to order trees for their property at a discounted price. If you have Ash trees on your property, keep an eye out for signs of Emerald Ash Borers and consider replacing them with a disease-resistant species. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the Environmental Coordinator.
