- The Nest - The Rookery Activity Center offers a Child Watch Program for members and guests. The Nest is a drop-in-center which means the space for children is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to Child Care Licensing, we are only allowed by state law to take so many children per staff person, based on their age of the children. Therefore, depending on the ages of the other children in the room, we can become full. Our staffing levels are based on historical usage. We try our best to take as many children as we can.
